Prompt with context.
Write the idea, attach references, choose a Seedream model and size, then keep working while generations run in the background.
A native prompt library for macOS
Grimora remembers every prompt, run, output, pick, and riff—so your next great image starts with what you already learned.
Private beta · Built for macOS 26
An abandoned glass conservatory at midnight, overgrown with deep violet vines and filled with luminous golden moths. Cinematic, quiet, refined.
The other half is the trail of prompts, references, model choices, dead ends, and small refinements that got you there.
Provider playgrounds make images. Grimora makes your process reusable. It turns generations into a durable creative library you can search, judge, revisit, and evolve.
Three deliberate moves replace the usual pile of mystery files.

Cull
Pick with P, reject with X, crown a cover, and rate the prompt. Your strongest material rises without deleting the evidence.
Riff
Successful prompts lock as faithful records. “Riff on this” creates an editable descendant, preserving the whole family of thought.
Search old prompt text, browse by tag, open every output from an idea, or jump through its family tree. Weeks later, the useful part is still there: why the image worked.
No browser-tab rituals. Grimora uses the Mac conventions already wired into your hands.
Quick Look with Space. Copy with ⌘C. Drag straight into Finder, Messages, or your design tool under a human-friendly filename.
Runs continue in the background. Start another idea, browse your archive, or fire several explorations at once.
A native SwiftUI interface and a local SQLite library keep a large image history responsive and close at hand.
Grimora is a bring-your-own-key app. Your API key is kept in Keychain; prompts and exact provider-returned image bytes stay in app-container storage.
The private beta has no account, no subscription, and no telemetry.
BYOKYou pay the provider directly. Grimora never proxies your generation requests.
Keychain protectedYour BytePlus key is never stored as plain text.
Original bytesOutputs are kept exactly as the provider returned them—no silent recompression.
The first release supports Seedream through BytePlus ModelArk, including reference images and production-ready size presets. Grimora’s provider boundary is built to welcome more BYOK models without rebuilding your library.
Your prompts deserve a memory
